This privacy policy explains how HMS Enterprises ("HMS.ENT.", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information you provide through this website.
HMS Enterprises is the trade name of a sole proprietorship of Kaleem Ashraf, GSTIN 09AQJPA1620M1ZY, principal place of business 132, Makbara Ghosiyan, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh 250002, India. We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described below.
1. Information we collect
- Business and contact details you submit via our inquiry, contact, and job-application forms (name, phone, email, business name, city, state).
- Your consent record — whether you agreed to be contacted, the date and time you agreed, and the exact wording you were shown.
- Order and account records created in the course of doing business with us — purchase orders, invoices, dispatch and delivery details, and payment status.
- Resume files uploaded for job applications.
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and operational diagnostics.
2. How we use it
- To respond to inquiries and onboard retailer / distributor partners.
- To evaluate job applications and contact shortlisted candidates.
- To send transactional communications related to ongoing engagements.
- To meet GST, statutory, and regulatory reporting obligations.
3. WhatsApp and messaging communications
When you give us your mobile number — through our inquiry, contact or onboarding forms, on a purchase order, or by messaging us first — we may use it to contact you on WhatsApp, SMS and email about your business relationship with us. This includes order confirmations, dispatch and delivery updates, invoice and payment reminders, catalog and pricing information you have asked for, and customer support.
We send WhatsApp messages using the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. To deliver those messages, your phone number and message content are processed by Meta, and may be processed on servers outside India. Meta's handling of that data is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
We message only people who have given us their number and agreed to be contacted. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any WhatsApp message from us, or by emailing info@hmsent.in — we will stop within 2 business days. Opting out of updates does not stop messages you specifically request from us, and does not affect statutory documents such as invoices.
We do not sell or rent your phone number and we do not use it for third-party marketing.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share limited details only with: (a) our internal sales, operations, and accounts teams, (b) statutory authorities where legally required, (c) trusted infrastructure providers (e.g. email delivery, hosting) under appropriate confidentiality terms, and (d) Meta Platforms, Inc., solely to deliver the WhatsApp messages described above.
5. Retention
Inquiry and contact records are retained for up to 24 months for relationship continuity. Job applications are retained for up to 12 months unless the candidate requests deletion sooner. Consent records are retained for as long as we may message you, and for 24 months afterwards, so we can evidence the permission we relied on. Statutory records are retained per applicable law.
6. Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website, and we do not track you across other sites. Only cookies strictly necessary to serve the site are set. If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this section before doing so.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@hmsent.in. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data you submit, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls on our backend, and minimised data retention.
